Terms of Service
The rules for using Solid, Solid for Gyms, and this website.
In force from 9 October 2026. Last updated 9 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Solid and Solid for Gyms are run by Mettle Labs Private Limited, a company incorporated in India, with its registered office at 222, Park Road, Laxman Chowk, Dehradun, Uttarakhand 248001 (GSTIN 05AAVCM3805D1ZI). In these terms, "Solid", "we", and "us" mean Mettle Labs Private Limited.
By creating an account or using Solid, you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy, and to our Refunds and Cancellations policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Solid.
2. What Solid is
Solid is an app for people who train: find a gym nearby, see what it publishes, buy its plans and passes, and check in with your phone. Solid for Gyms is the app gyms use to run their members, plans, payments, front desk, and staff, and to publish their page on Solid. This website describes both and hosts pages the apps link to, such as Solid Pay. Some features are still being released, and the apps show only what is available.
Every gym on Solid is an independent business. The gym provides the gym itself: its premises, equipment, trainers, and classes. Solid provides the software and, when you pay through Solid, collects the payment for the gym. Solid does not run gyms.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and your codes to yourself: what is done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- Give true details, and keep them up to date.
- You must be 18 or older to have an account. A person under 18 can be a member of a gym on Solid only with a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for them, and whose consent the gym records.
4. Gyms, owners, and staff
- A gym joins Solid when its owner accepts the Solid partner agreement in Solid for Gyms. The agreement sets Solid's fees, the weekly payouts, and the gym's obligations. Where it differs from these terms, the agreement governs the gym.
- The owner decides who works in the gym's account and what each person can do, and answers for what they do there.
- A gym is responsible for what it publishes (photos of its real premises, and true prices, hours, and facilities) and for the records it keeps about its members, including having their consent to keep them.
5. Prices and fees
- Each gym sets its own prices, discounts, and plan rules. The price you see includes GST where the gym charges it. Solid adds nothing to what a member pays.
- Solid for Gyms is free for running a gym: there is no joining fee and no monthly fee. Solid earns a fee on payments made through Solid, at the rates in the partner agreement, which a gym reads before it agrees. Cash and payments to a gym's own UPI that it records in Solid carry no fee. Optional ads and promotional WhatsApp messages are priced before a gym turns them on.
6. Paying through Solid
- When you pay a gym through Solid, for example by a Solid Pay link or Autopay, Solid collects the payment on the gym's behalf, as its agent. Once your payment succeeds, you have paid the gym.
- Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments India Private Limited, a payment aggregator authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. Your card, bank, and UPI details go to Cashfree. Solid never sees or stores them.
- Your receipt is issued by the gym, in its name, with its GST details where it is registered.
- If you set up Autopay, you authorise the gym's renewals to be debited through Cashfree on the dates and for the amounts shown when you set it up. You can cancel Autopay at any time from your UPI app or by asking the gym. Cancelling stops future debits.
- A payment you make at the gym's desk, in cash or to the gym's own UPI, is between you and the gym. Solid only records it.
- Refunds and cancellations follow our Refunds and Cancellations policy.
7. Your health and safety
- Exercise carries a risk of injury. Check with a doctor before you start, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have not trained before, and stop if something feels wrong.
- Follow the gym's rules and its staff. The gym is responsible for its premises, equipment, trainers, and classes, and may ask you to accept its own waiver.
- Nothing on Solid is medical advice.
8. What you post
- Reviews, ratings, photos, and messages you post must be true, your own, and lawful. A rating on Solid comes only from a real visit.
- You keep what you post. You allow Solid to show it on Solid and to use it to run the service, for as long as it stays posted.
- We may remove anything that breaks these terms or the law. A gym may reply to a review, but cannot edit or remove it.
9. What you must not do
- Make fake bookings, scan your own codes, check in for someone else, or fake a visit in any other way.
- Post anything false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful, or someone else's personal information without their consent.
- Ask for sign-in codes for numbers that are not yours, try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or test, probe, or overload Solid's systems.
- Copy, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer Solid, except where the law allows it.
- Use Solid to harass anyone, or to turn anyone away for their gender, religion, caste, or where they come from.
10. Solid's name and apps
Solid, Solid for Gyms, the Solid mark, the apps, and this website belong to Mettle Labs Private Limited. We give you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the apps for what they are for, while you follow these terms.
11. Availability and change
We keep improving Solid, so features change. We work to keep Solid running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. The front desk's check-in keeps working without internet and catches up when the connection returns.
12. Our responsibility
- We are responsible for the software and for passing on payments made through Solid. We are not responsible for a gym's services, premises, staff, or conduct: a complaint about those is the gym's to answer, and we will help you raise it.
- Solid is provided as it is. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid through Solid for the purchase the claim is about or, for a gym, the fees Solid charged it in the three months before the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Ending
- You may stop using Solid at any time. To have your account deleted, write to privacy@solidgyms.com. A gym leaves Solid as its partner agreement says.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts others at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and why. Money owed to you, or by you, is settled as these terms, the refunds policy, and the partner agreement say.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first: most problems are solved quickly. Subject to that, the courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand have jurisdiction. This does not take away your right as a consumer to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the version in force. If a change matters to you, we tell you in the app or by message before it applies. Using Solid after a change takes effect means you accept it.
